Since there is limited information available online,
I'll provide it here.
My family has been using the ASUS EEBOOK X205TA for several years,
but suddenly the battery stopped charging.
(This model has always been somewhat unstable.)
Even when the AC power is connected,
the charging indicator does not light up,
and once the battery runs out,
it shuts down.
It's unclear whether the issue lies with the charger or the motherboard.
Occasionally,
the charging indicator comes back to life,
so we've been managing to use it somehow.
After finding some information online,
I uninstalled the two battery drivers in Device Manager.

After restarting,
the two drivers were automatically reinstalled,
and the power supply is now functioning properly.
